DIPLOMA OF CHILDREN’S SERVICES
Simone’s passion for working with children began early, with her strong connection to the Salvation Army. Simone brings a diverse range of experience to Pecks Road Early Learning & Kinder.
Simone has spent time working for the Salvation Army as a Children’s Minister, the Association for Children’s Welfare and Out of School Hours Care. It is this diversity that gives Simone a broad understanding of the differences amongst children and their individual needs.
Simone also plays Trombone as a hobby with the Preston Salvation Band and brings her love of music to Pecks Road.

Jess’ passion for Early Childhood education began at a young age growing up in a large family. Jess believes that the development in the first years of a child’s life is the foundation for the rest of the child’s years. Jess is committed to giving the children the best opportunity to grow and develop in a positive, interactive learning environment and believes that this is achieved at Pecks Road Early Learning & Kinder in the play spaces designed for the children. Jess’ love of the outdoors keeps her busy doing obstacle course races, running and finding new places to explore. Through this, Jess loves engaging the children in experiences that keep them active and involved in their own health and wellbeing.

Carol’s love of cooking came straight from her family home in the Philippines, where she grew up cooking for her family before moving to Australia and continuing her love of cooking for family and friends, as well as catering for parties on weekends.
Carol’s passion for food extends to the joy she derives from seeing children enjoy her meals.
From time to time, Carol shares her gentle nature working with children on the floor or out in the garden where her other passion lies. Carol oversees and supports the children in caring for and nurturing our very own vegetable garden.
